In this module we will explore the different ways you can create your own expression of outside church, hearing from people across Birmingham and beyond who have had a go and loved connecting with their Creator God through creation.

This module helps you look at your children's and youth programs with fresh eyes, thinking about how to strategically plan, helping you think about your aims and objectives for the year, showing you how and where to look for good resources. This module comes in two offerings, independent learning and/or a facilitated group session.

Prayer Spaces In Schools will lead you through step by step enabling you to plan and run your own prayer space with ready made Prayer space packs for you to download and use.

Sharing Stories includes watching a recorded gathered session on Sharing Your Story before moving on to activities which include creating your own social media post and social media plan.

We will look at why it is so important to ‘develop a spiritually-enriching children’s and youth ministry in every parish and church school’, number 4 of our Transforming Church goals, and look at how you apply this to your context.

This course aims to explore the everyday choices we make based on our perceptions, attitudes, and stereotypes. Unconscious biases (e.g. based on gender, race, ability, appearance, mannerisms and other characteristics) can lead to preferential treatment of some people and lowered expectations of others. Awareness of our thoughts and actions can enable us to support greater fairness in a diverse society and a more generous, collaborative, and inspirational church.

Are you dealing with tricky issues in your church or community? Would you like to explore some simple biblical principles about how to discuss difficult things well? We live at a time when people are divided more than ever before. The world, society, and the church can feel complex and divided. Do you want to be involved in being part of bringing reconciliation?

Difference is a five-session course that equips you to explore differences in a way that can bring genuine and healing change in everyday encounters.

In this module, we will think theologically about your children's and youth work, using questions such as 'where is God at work here?' and 'what's next for us and our ministry?'. This module comes in two offerings, one which is independent learning, focusing on youth ministry and one which is a facilitated group session focusing on children and youth ministry.

Readers learn in small supportive formation groups from tutors, teachers and each other. This is an intensive 11-month initial programme which includes confidence building as a preacher and teacher, leader of worship and encourager of mission. It features a four-week placement in another parish, assessed work (written and spoken) and incredible growth and friendships.
