Jesus’ first call to his disciples was, “Follow me", and his final words were, “Go and make disciples.” The word 'disciple' appears 263 times in the New Testament. All baptised Christians are disciples, that is, followers, learners, apprentices of Christ and we learn as we follow. Discipleship is a journey. All that is required is to make a start with God; God will lead you, step by step.

On this page you will find some resources that are for individuals and some that are for groups. More will be added over time. You might also be interested to look at Way of Discipleship

Estimated Time: 1 hour | Delivery Mode: Online immersive space

Celebrating Disciples is an online, immersive space, rooted in scripture and prayer. It is an invitation to spend time in quiet reflection letting God remind you of moments when you have seen someone grow as a disciple over the last year, to treasure those moments and record the stories. The experience is richest when shared in a group, but the immersive space can be used by an individual at any time. More information and resources for groups will be available from your Area Dean soon.
