  This module is aimed at youth workers looking for new ways to use the Bible in their youth work. You will look at your own approach and view of the Bible, look at the importance of opening its pages up with your young people, and then be given tried and tested ways of using the Bible in your youth work, with encouragement to try one out and reflect on the outcome.

  Desired Learning Outcomes:

  • Look at your own use of the Bible
  • Learn that the Bible is exciting to open with young people
  • Pick up and try out ideas for how to do this practically

  You can work through the module online and in your own time. Videos presented by Mark Watson (Director of Ministry for Cambridge Youth for Christ) are interspersed with prompts to reflect on your own experiences with the Bible and how you can apply some new ideas and resources with young people.

  The module will take approximately two hours to work through, plus the time to try out an idea with your young people.
