Topic outline

  • In this module we explore the Faithful Conversations model and show how this can be an empowering tool for helping Christians share their faith with people of different faiths and beliefs. Many Christians find it hard to talk about their faith and lack the confidence to weave it into everyday conversations. This module will help you reflect on your own faith story and the ways that you feel most comfortable speaking about it. Christians want to speak about their faith for a variety of reasons, for evangelism, dialogue, to build understanding and remove prejudice; we don't prioritise any one of these motives, but rather equip Christians to share their faith in any circumstance.

This module has been created by Canon Dr Andrew Smith, Director of Interfaith Relations.

    Desired Learning Outcomes:

    • Understand why many Christians often lack confidence in sharing their faith
    • Identify the ways in which you feel most comfortable speaking about your faith
    • Develop the confidence to tell your own faith story in any situation
