The Way of Servant-Leadership is an eight session course, delivered through monthly three hour sessions, with a one day retreat, and the opportunity to be mentored for discipleship.
This course is for anyone who wants to become better at influencing others well, in a Christlike way, whether in church, or in community. It is about developing confident understanding of servant-leadership but, more importantly, developing the skills that help us grow and lead well long term. It grows understanding in having confidence in what leadership means (in any area of life) and becoming a more Christlike leader.
The course develops skills in four key areas:
Self Awareness and Knowing my Gifts | Developing Courage | Discerning Direction | Developing Others
By the end of this course, you will:
- Have a clear understanding of the meaning and nature of Christlike servant-leadership, which can be applied to every area of life. This draws from biblical and general wisdom.
- Have experienced applied training in the foundations of good leadership:
- Knowing your key gifts, and being able to help others identify theirs.
- Developing long-term courage for the challenges of leading others.
- Discerning personal vision, and being equipped to help groups or organisations articulate theirs and put it into practice.
- Developing individuals and teams effectively.
The next running cohort is the April 2024 Intake - Tues: 9/4, 14/5, 4/6. Sat: 13/7. Tues: 10/9, 8/10. Sat: 9/11. Tues: 10/12. This cohort is a mix of in person days and sessions on Zoom.
